Georgia Athanasellis
Senior Associate
Georgia is an accomplished legal practitioner having previously worked at international firm Allens, and as a member of the in-house legal team at the University of Queensland. Setting her career apart from others, Georgia has served as a judge’s associate in the Supreme Court of Queensland, and an associate to a deputy presidential member of the Fair Work Commission.
With a practice focussing on exclusively on workplace relations, Georgia advises companies in relation to workplace investigations, unfair dismissal claims, general protections claims, anti-discrimination claims, bullying and harassment claims, and gives executive employment advice to individuals. Georgia also appears as advocate in Fair Work Commission matters.
Georgia graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2018 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Literary Studies (with Distinction) in 2018.
Reflecting her commitment to the profession, Georgia is the host of the Queensland Law Society’s podcast, The Callover, which is dedicated to creating content to inspire connected, capable and healthy lawyers.
