Robin Franklin


After a 20 year career in local and international workplace relations and human resource management, holding senior roles with BP Australia Limited, MIM Holdings Limited and Thiess Contractors Pty Ltd, Robin moved to private practice as a solicitor. He was the leader of the Queensland Workplace Relations practice of a leading national law firm before he and Bill Athanasellis established Franklin Athanasellis Solicitors (a predecessor firm to Franklin Athanasellis Cullen).

Robin’s practical experience covers a range of industries including heavy engineering, building and construction, oil and gas, mining (coal and metalliferous), energy and transport (ports, road and rail).  

More recently Robin has undertaken a number of in-house roles at Government owned corporations including CS Energy and Queensland Rail (where he performed various roles including the Chief Human Resources Officer, Acting Head of Legal Governance and Corporate Counsel).
