Rohen’s expertise spans all areas of employment law and industrial relations including industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, industrial action, termination of employment, restructures and redundancies, discrimination, workplace investigations including Crime and Corruption Commission investigations and all aspects of executive employment.
Rohen is an experienced litigator and has acted in significant, high profile litigation test-cases during his career. He has successfully obtained orders to stop industrial action, defended adverse action and unfair dismissal claims, obtained civil penalty orders and defended discrimination claims.
Rohen’s long standing clients span the mining (coal and metalliferous), transport (and particularly rail), construction, gas, sugar, maritime, health and education industries. He also has considerable experience acting for State and Federal Governments and their various government owned enterprises.
